Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson cleverly danced around questions about his lingering right knee injury Thursday.
Fox Sports’ Erin Andrews reported during the Lions’ Thanksgiving Day win over the Packers that general manager Martin Mayhew said Johnson has been having fluid drained from the knee throughout the season.
“No, I cannot confirm,” Johnson said.
Asked if he could deny the report, Johnson again shot the question down.
“Smart guys,” he said. “Y’all a trip.”

Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell has been officially cleared for Sunday.

Kyle Rudolph did not participate in Vikings practice Thursday.
Rudolph is recovering from a broken leg and was hardly expected to play again this season. But he participated in the Vikings pre-game warmups last Sunday and appears to be close to returning to action. He will not play in Week 14 but should be good to go by Week 15 against the Eagles.
