Waiver-Wire Pickups, Week 14

Brandon Ribak of www.nbaprimetime.com discusses the top free-agents to pick up and place into your starting lineup for the upcoming week.

Robin Lopez (C, PHX)-
Lopez has played no short of spectacular during his last six games scoring in double figures in five of the six contests averaging 15 PPG, 5.6 RPG, and 2.3 BPG including a six block game performance in 28 minutes per night.

The twin brother of Brooke Lopez is finally beginning to pick up the pace in his young NBA career and is definitely worth picking up in all fantasy formats immediately.

Martell Webster (SG/SF, POR)-
With most of Portland's stars sidelined Martell Webster has stepped up tremendously for the young organization. The four year man out of high school has performed to the best of his ability during the month of January, dropping double figures in 10 of the 11 games played.

Not to mention, Webster has averaged 5.6 RPG over the span, including a remarkable 36 three-pointers made.

Webster is arguably one of the hottest players in all of fantasy play right now and should be added to any fantasy roster if still available!

Corey Brewer (SF, MIN)-
Brewer is dropping just under 15 PPG, along with 4.1 RPG, 2.3 APG, 1.1 SPG, 1.0 BPG, and 18 three-pointers made in January in just around 34 MPG.

The forward has been rather impressive when on the court this season and should continue to provide fantasy owners with a decent amount of production in all statistical categories across the board.

DeJuan Blair (PF, SA)-
The rookie out of Pitt has played fantastic for San Antonio this season and continues to produce for fantasy owners thus far. Blair is averaging 7.7 PPG and 8.3 RPG in 21 minutes per contest this month, including an incredible 28 points and 21 rebound performance.

If your roto team is in need of consistent rebounds Blair is your best bet to pick up off of the waiver wire.

Mike Conley (PG, MEM)-
Conley is providing fantasy owners with a satisfying amount of assists, points, steals, and three-pointers made per game to be picked up and started in roto leagues. With consistent minutes per game the point-guard could quickly emerge as a top fantasy PG in the league if he can continue to post numbers night in and night out.

Although Memphis has plenty of fantasy studs as it is, owners should pick up Conley if he is still a free-agent in your league.
