Ty Wigginton and Carlos Ruiz homered to help Philadelphia climb out of last place in the N.L. East.

The Phillies may have some help on the way: Chase Utley was 2 for 5 with a homer in a game for Class AAA Lehigh Valley and could make his season debut Wednesday. He has missed the first three months because of chronic knee problems.
