Despite his stiff neck, pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka participated in high-energy pitcher fielding drills this morning, seemingly without any restrictions. Participating in the drills would seem to be a positive step for Matsuzaka, whose rehab from a sore back was cut short Saturday when he had to call off a planned throwing session because of a stiff neck. There is still no announced plan for Matsuzaka to throw his next side session or bullpen session. Matsuzaka is now running sprints in the outfield as the other pitchers shag fly balls.
Source: Dan Barbarisi| Value: | Value is based on a standard score calculation, where 0.0 is the average for your league's top players (based on your settings). As a general guideline, a value of 2.0 and above for an individual category is very good, -2.0 and below, really bad. |
| Rankings: | These Values are assigned to each Player, and they show how easy or hard it is to perform in a certain category against them. For instance, A Player may have an Ease Ranking of 2.50 for the HR Category, meaning they're very easy to hit HR's against. |
