Running back Beanie Wells is back in the Valley after undergoing athroscopic surgery earlier this week on his right knee. Wells described the surgery "as just a scope" and a simple clean-up. He said the surgery, performed by Dr. James Andrews in Gulf Breeze, Fla., went as expected. Wells was at the Cardinals facility on Friday for a rehabilitation session. I managed to get him for only a minute because he was having trouble talking on his cell while trying to get through a security gate on crutches. If Wells progresses normally, it seems he will be able to take part in off-season work.
