Greg Oden-C - NBA Free Agent
Jeff Goodman reports the Cavs and Heat have emerged as leaders to sign former No. 1 overall pick Greg Oden, who is attempting an NBA comeback. Oden, who hasn't played since Dec. 5, 2009 due to multiple knee injuries, is hoping to meet with the Heat next week, according to a source. The Celtics have also expressed interest in signing Oden, but the source said Oden is leaning toward Cleveland or Miami.
Oden will have to avoid another injury which is unlikely to ever make a serious impact for a team again.
