Bulls coach Coach Tom Thibodeau didn't want to play Luol Deng extended minutes in his first game back after a five-game absence due to an injured right hamstring.

Deng scored 12 points in 31 minutes of action in the Bulls' 93-85 win over the Charlotte Bobcats. I felt great, Deng said. I hadnt gone full speed like that, so I was a little worried about the change of speed and direction. So Im happy I was able to not have any setbacks.

Even with the return of Deng, Jimmy Butler still holds value as he garnered 31 minutes in a reserve role Monday night. Butler finished the game with 19 points, six rebounds, two assists, and one block. Butler's minutes may fluctuate as Deng proves he's healthy, but in the meantime Bulter continues to produce and should still get enough minutes going forward to make him Fantasy relevant.
