Blake Griffin-F - Clippers
Blake Griffin woke up Wednesday with swelling in his left ankle, an injury he re-aggravated against Phoenix last Thursday. Griffin played through a noticeable limp. "It's a pain management thing," he said. "As long as you can play through the pain, it's really not that bad."
He seems to be OK, and he has no history that would force us to raise any eyebrows at this news. The Clippers improved to 6-1 last night in games in which he hands out one or zero assists, a marked improvement over their 3-4 mark when he dishes out 7+ helpers. Look for him to focus on what he does well, which could lead to a drop in his recently spiked assist production.
