New Orleans Hornets guard Eric Gordon said he played Friday night’s game against the Denver Nuggets with a sore lower back, but it’s not expected to keep him from playing Saturday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Gordon said his back has been sore since this past Tuesdays game against the Lakers. He sat out Wednesdays game against the Utah Jazz because of the team's restriction to not play him in the second game of back-to-back sets to avoid overextending his right knee. Gordon missed the first 29 games of the season because of a patella disorder and bone bruise in his right knee.``Its a little sore, but Ive been dealing with it, Gordon said about his sore back.`` With so much travel and games, it has been a little bit of wear and tear on me.''
