Tim Duncan (knee) has been doing light shooting and running, missed his second consecutive game Friday. Coach Gregg Popovich said his big man is “getting close” to a return.
It's possible he could return Sunday vs Brooklyn, but the Spurs could choose to hold Duncan out until after the All Star break to make sure he returns healthy. We will update his status when we know more.
