Kyrie Irving-PG - Cavaliers
The News-Herald reports that Cavs coach Byron Scott said he’s a bit concerned with guard Kyrie Irving wearing down. He said after practice on Tuesday he was a bit banged up. Now, he’ll have a busy weekend in Houston for the All-Star festivities. “I’m a little concerned he’s going to come back tired,” Scott said. “It’s something we’ll have to look at Monday.”
The odds are that Irving will be tired, but blaming the ASB is hard to do. His back may be sore from carrying the Cavs all season long, in which case the ASB is a vacation. The only thing that is going to keep this young stud from wearing down is the continued growth of the young nucleus around him.
