Dwight Howard apparently has his heart set on becoming a Brooklyn Net. According to NBA insider Stephen A. Smith on ESPN Radio, a source close to the situation found that the Los Angeles Lakers center recently told Rudy Gay, “on the court,” that he made a mistake by getting traded to the Toronto Raptors. D12 allegedly went on to say that the swingman “should have waited” until next year, when the two stars could have wound up in Brooklyn together.

At this point it is all speculation, but the Nets had better have a plan in place if this happens, as they (much like the Lakers) have an all star caliber 7 footer on the roster already. Regardless of where he plays, assuming he is healthy, D12 is a true center who will always have value in fantasy basketball. That being said, even the rhythm of JayZ can't fix his free throw problems, making his ceiling a step below the elite overall players.
