Ricky Rubio confirmed he'll play for Spain in this summer's EuroBasket.
This is NOT a negative. The more basketball the spunky Spainard the better, especially for his scoring tendencies. The season after an ACL tear has been a tough one for Rubio when it comes to shooting the basketball, but his instincts and play-making ability are unquestioned. He made a name for himself in the Spainish pro leagues and this experience should allow him to work on his perimeter game.
