Danny Granger-F - Pacers

Last Updated: 24 Feb, 07:18 AM

Danny Granger, who sat out the first 55 games of the season with a knee injury, finished with two points on 1-for-10 shooting in 18 minutes. ''He was rusty, but that's to be expected,'' Vogel said. ''That's why we aren't throwing him out there for 40 minutes. He's been a lot better in practices, but this was his first time at game speed in a long time.''

Granger's minutes will surely be monitored over the first couple of weeks as he gets his conditioning back and into game shape. It's unclear if he will remain coming off the bench or join the starting lineup when fully healthy but for now keep Granger on the bench until he gets over the 20 minute mark for consecutive games. Granger is a volume shooter who doesn't need a lot of minutes to put up solid numbers.
