Austin Rivers-G - Pelicans
Updated: Hornets guard Austin Rivers will miss 4-6 weeks after fracturing the fourth metacarpal bone in his right hand, the team announced. Rivers was forced to leave New Orleans' loss to the Lakers Wednesday night just before halftime after jamming his hand while going for a steal. X-rays taken after the game revealed the fracture.
This will likely end his fantasy season as the NBA campaign will be coming to a close by the latter part of his injury timetable. He wasn't much of a factor for most lineups as he averages six points, two rebounds and two assists per game this year.
