Dolphins WRs Brandon Gibson and Armon Binns are expected to compete for the No. 3 wide receiver job during offseason workouts and training camp.
Dolphins DE Dion Jordan (shoulder) said he expects to receive medical clearance to participate by the time training camp begins.
Houston Texans LB Brooks Reed said he has been running and lifting weights for the past three weeks and the groin hasn't given him any trouble. He said he will be healthy for the beginning of the team's organized team activities and he said he is "100 percent."
The Patriots tight end will have a fourth procedure performed on his left forearm tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Massachusetts General Hospital, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

Buffalo reached a four-year agreement with second-round pick and rookie receiver Robert Woods, a source tells ESPN.com's AFC East blog. Woods was in Los Angeles for the NFLPA's Rookie Premiere this weekend, and is expected to sign the contract with Buffalo in the next few days.
The rumors are flying that Woods is already penciled in opposite Steve Johnson at starting WR in Buffalo. Whether he can break the trend of USC WRs struggling in the NFL remains to be seen. He's a late 1st to early 2nd round pick in dynasty rookie drafts and a WR4/5 in redraft leagues.

Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano compared his third-round pick QB Mike Glennon to Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco and said Glennon will have every opportunity to try and win the starting quarterback job for the Bucs.
In 2012, Josh Freeman threw for 4,065 yards and 27 TD both career-highs. So the Bucs decided to spend an early pick on Mike Glennon. The losses in recent seasons should be put more on the pathetic defense instead of Freeman. Dynasty league players may want to draft Glennon, but odds are Freeman is under center Week 1. rn

Glennon is likely insurance in case the Buccaneers do not re-sign Josh Freeman, who is in the last year of his rookie contract. Also, a comparison to Flacco wouldn't have been considered a good thing six months ago. It is hard to imagine any scenario where a healthy Freeman isn't the starter for at least half of the season. Freeman remains a borderline top-20 fantasy quarterback, and Glennon is draftable only in Dynasty leagues.

DE Bruce Irvin became the sixth Seahawks player to test positive for performance enhancing drugs since 2011.
If many more Seahawks test positive look for Pete Carroll to jump ship and go back to college football so he can ruin another program. I still have the Seahawks D/ST ranked second for the 2013 season, but I don't feel good about it. I would rather draft my defense later and let someone else mess around with them.

Shaun Hill underwent minor surgery on his left foot recently and is wearing a walking boot, the Detroit Free Press reports.
Dolphins CB Richard Marshall told WQAM he lost 30 pounds because of his back injury. He's regained the weight already and is cleared to work.
