Ray Rice-RB - Ravens
Ray Rice and the Baltimore Ravens have both said they would like to get a long-term deal done to keep the running back with the team for years to come. Thus far, that has not happened, as Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times reports the two sides are not close to resolving the matter with the franchised running back. If no deal is reached by Monday's deadline, Rice will be forced to play for the franchise tag tender of $7.7 million. It might also keep him from reporting to training camp, as franchised players often wait until the week before the first regular-season game to sign the tender and show up. Rice did not take part in the Ravens' off-season work.
