The Rockies announced that Todd Helton, 39, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol Wednesday morning.
Helton struggled as he only batted .238 with seven homers in only 69 games. He missed the majority of the season due to hip problems. This news is rather shocking to a guy who has never had any major issues with the law. The Rockies' first baseman is expected to retire following the 2013 season.
